Attach pressure hose (01) to service connection (2).

Connect vehicle diagnosis system and actuate fuel pump via fuel system control unit (N118).



 Actuate the fuel pump until the fuel tank is completely emptied.

Disconnect diagnostic system.



Remove pressure hose (01) from service connection (2).

Remove pressure hose (01) from safety container and close safety container.

Open fuel filler flap and remove fuel filler cap.

Check extraction hose for damage and ridging.

If there is a problem,



use new extraction hose.


Use extraction hose with a 12 mm diameter.
Fuel tank will otherwise be damaged.

Connect the ground line for the pump to the vehicle.



Extract fuel from safety container to pump.



Slide extraction hose of pump into fuel tank filler neck.

Pump pumped out fuel quantity into fuel tank using pump.



Pull extraction hose out of the fuel tank.

Attach fuel filler cap and close fuel filler flap.

Remove pump ground line from vehicle and remove pump.
