1 Slacken the nut (1) on the supporting joint of the drag link (2).
2 Place puller on supporting joint.
3 Press the drag link out of the steering gear pitman arm (3).
4 Unscrew the drag link nut.
5 Install the drag link on the steering gear pitman arm.
6 Screw on the nut and secure with a split pin .
If the steering gear has been removed, it is more economic to first fill with steering gear oil and bleed the steering system.
