Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove front wheel



Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary

Remove tie rod

Remove bellows

Loosen inner tie rod with axial joint (3) using open end wrench (2)

 Counterhold gear rack using a suitable open end wrench (arrow).



Remove tie rod with ball joint (3)

 Do not use force (hammer blows, excessive leverage) otherwise you may damage the steering gear.
