Pushing off
1 Undo self-locking nut of tie rod joint (10a).
2 Mount thrust piece (046).
3 Pry tie rod ball joint (10a) out of steering knuckle using puller (045).
4 Remove puller and thrust piece.
Installation
5 Clean tapered connection.
6 Replace self-locking nut and tighten. Steady ball socket with hexagon socket wrench, if necessary.
