Remove/install

Turn steering wheel (1) to straight-ahead position

Switch off ignition

Remove cover from steering wheel (1)

Vehicles without code S3A (Driver airbag)

 The cover is clipped into the steering wheel (1) at four points.

3.2

Remove airbag (2)

Vehicles with code S3A (Driver airbag)

Disconnect electrical connection (3) and pull electrical line (4) out of guides (5)

Remove center bolt (6)

 Installation: Install new center bolt (6).

 Center bolt, steering wheel to steering column

Remove steering wheel (1)

 Installation: The steering wheel (1) can only be installed in one position.

Install in the reverse order

 Steering wheel, steering column bracket, steering shaft
