1 Unscrew nuts (1).
Installation: Observe tightening torque of nuts (1).
2 Cut cable tie on steering shaft (4).
Installation: Use new cable tie.
3 Detach electrical connection from electric steering lock control unit (N26/5).
4 Detach boot (2) from floor panel
Installation: Check for correct seating of boot (2).
5 Unscrew nuts (3).
Installation: Observe tightening torque of nuts (3).
6 Carefully lower steering shaft (4).
Carefully lower steering shaft (4). Otherwise damage may occur.
7 Remove springs (5)
8 Unscrew nut (6).
9 Remove roller (7)
10 Remove slide rail (8).
11 Remove operating lever (9).
12 Remove bracket (10).
13 Install in the reverse order.
