1 | Move front wheels to straight-ahead position and set steering wheel (1) to horizontal | ||
2 | Remove airbag unit from steering wheel (1) | ||
3 | Disconnect electrical connector (2) | ||
4 | Remove screw/bolt (3), when doing so hold steering wheel (1) steady | Installation: Replace bolt (3). | |

5 | Remove steering wheel (1), route electrical wiring harness (4) through the opening in the steering wheel (1) and fasten the clock spring contact in place using suitable adhesive tape | Installation: In order to avoid damaging the clock spring contact when the steering is on full lock, after twisting the clock spring contact must be brought into the center position. | |
Set the clock spring contact to center position | |||
Installation: Align the cutout of the serrations in the steering wheel (1) with the marking on the steering shaft (arrows). | |||
