Remove
1 Install extractor device (1).
Tighten manually screws (2).
2 Remove intermediate ring (3) by turning it through nut (4) on the extractor device.
3 Loose screws (2) and remove intermediate ring (3) with extractor device (1).
4 Remove intermediate ring (3) from extractor device (1) .

Install
5 Install a new O-Ring (5).
Apply a grease Olista Longtime 3 EP on O-Ring (5) before installing it.
6 Insert intermediate ring (3) in the retarder housing and tighten lightly.
Drift pin (6) in intermediate ring (3) and cavity (7) in the retarder housing should be adjusted. Intermediate ring (3) is put in its final position by tightening diaphragm body cap.
