Check brake system for external leakage

 The following test steps must be worked through one after the other and the corresponding result must be noted down.

Bleed brake system

 Bleed screw to hydraulic unit for brake booster

Check monitoring system

 The battery voltage must be between 11 and 14 V

 This test must be conducted at a room temperature of between 18 °C and 23 °C.

 Analysis and evaluation can only be started after all the tests have been completely carried out.

Remove brake booster hydraulic unit pressure reservoir

Remove ESP control unit

When exchanging one or more components, the complete work procedure must be repeated

Detach pressure gauge
