Remove/install

Switch off ignition.

Remove hazard warning system switch module.

Release parking brake lever control unit and pull out by operating parking brake lever.

To release, position release tool (1) at release point (arrow) behind parking brake lever control unit and push catch spring (3) downward.

Disconnect electrical connector (2) from parking brake lever control unit.

Installation:
Guide electrical wiring harness through lower cutout in center module.
Otherwise, the electric lines may be trapped and damaged during installation of the parking brake lever control unit.

Install in the reverse order

Remove/install parking brake lever control unit
