1 | Raise vehicle. | ||
2 | Unscrew cover cap (1). | ||
Release parking brake | |||
3 | Pierce protective membrane at access opening of electric parking brake (EFB) control unit (A13). | Only when releasing the parking brake for the first time. | |
4 | Turn release mechanism clockwise. | The wheels must be able to turn freely to a sufficient extent. | |
| Install | ||
5 | Screw on cover cap (1). | ||
6 | Lower vehicle. | ||
As soon as the ignition key has been moved to position II, the parking brake is actuated again automatically. |
