Remove/install

1

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Loosen edge guard (1) in area of cover (2).

Unclip cover (2) and remove.

Release catch hooks (3), remove fuse and relay module on driver's side (K40/6) and place to one side with connected electric lines.

Release shackles (4) of the catch hooks (5) from electric parking brake switch (S76/15) using a suitable tool.

Swivel switch for electric parking brake (S76/15) inwards in the direction of the firewall and remove upwards out of the guide (6).

 Installation: Make sure that the pins (arrows) on the switch for the electric parking brake (S76/15) are correctly seated in the guide (6).

Release and disconnect electrical connector (7) from switch for electric parking brake (S76/15).

Install in the reverse order.
