Skimming

Remove brake drum.

Attach brakepad skimmer to wheel hub.

 Observe the operating instructions from the manufacturer of the brakepad skimmer.

Skim brakepads.


Do not skim below the minimum thickness of the brakepads relative to the brake drum diameter.
Otherwise a function failure of the service brake will occur.

Detach brakepad skimmer from wheel hub.

 Observe the operating instructions from the manufacturer of the brakepad skimmer.

Install brake drum.
