Install insertion tool (consisting of spindle, pressure nut, washer and adapter) on brake caliper. To do this, attach the adapter to the floating bearing on the outside of the brake caliper and tighten the pressure nut of the spindle lightly by hand.

The washer must lie flat on the floating bearing on the outside of the brake caliper and the chamfer on the adapter must be centered on the guide sleeve (6) in order to avoid damage to the guide sleeve (6) and the bearing seat.

Using a box wrench on the spindle, screw in pressure nut and press in the guide sleeve (6) as far as the end stop (arrow).

Detach insertion tool from brake caliper and check seat of guide sleeve (6) for ridging, remove ridging with emery cloth if necessary.

Coat guide sleeve (6) with grease.
