Remove wheel

Insert new brake pad into outer brake anchor shaft

The brake pad limits the range of adjustment of the thrust pieces (1) and therefore prevents the threaded pipes unscrewing completely, which would mean the brake caliper would have to be replaced.

Turn adjuster clockwise until the bellows (2) of the thrust pieces (1) are easily visible.

Use only a box wrench or socket wrench for adjusting.

Notes on evaluating thrust pieces

Model 375, 613, 930, 932, 933, 934, 944, 950, 952, 953, 954, 957, 970, 972, 974, 975, 976 with disk brake

If thrust pieces (1) are sluggish or if bellows (2) are damaged:

Install new thrust pieces with bellows.
