Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Lift/jack up vehicle

Remove rear wheel



Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary

First disconnect brake hose (51) at the brake line (5) and then at the brake caliper (31).

 Seal off line connections immediately with plugs. The brake fluid reservoir must not be allowed to empty completely.



Unscrew brake caliper (31) from wheel carrier.

 Installation: Install new micro-encapsulated bolts (31a).



Before starting engine, actuate brake pedal several times until the pressure is built up and maintained in the brake system.

Operate brake pedal several times until the brake pads make contact with the brake disks (firm resistance can be felt)
