Clean

Open engine hood and raise to upright position.

Clean area around cap (5) of brake fluid reservoir (6).



Remove

Unscrew cap (5) on brake fluid reservoir (6).

Remove wheel and tire assemblies on front axle.

Only carry out if the outer vent screws on the 4-piston fixed caliper are not accessible due to the construction of the wheel and tire assemblies on the front axle.

Bleeding

Fill new brake fluid up to maximum mark in the brake fluid reservoir (6).



Brake fluids (DOT 4 plus)

Connect filling unit to brake fluid reservoir (6).



 Observe manufacturer's operating instructions.

Switch on filling unit.

Raise vehicle.

Perform bleeding procedure.

Lower the vehicle.

Switch off filling unit and disconnect from brake fluid reservoir (6).



Check

Check brake system for leak tightness.

Correct fluid level in brake fluid reservoir (6).



Install

Screw cap (5) onto brake fluid reservoir (6).

15

Install wheel and tire assemblies on front axle.

If necessary.
