Risk of accident when commissioning the vehicle due to a lack of braking effect when the service brake is operated for the first time after repair work.

Before starting the engine, actuate brake pedal several times until pressure is built up and maintained in the brake system.

Remove reservoir

 When reusing, clean reservoir with spirit.

Remove brake lines (1)

 Seal line ends and bores with stop plugs.

 Threaded connection, brake line to brake hose

 Nut, master brake cylinder to brake unit

Remove master brake cylinder (3)

 Installation:
Replace sealing rings (4), sealing ring between master brake cylinder and brake booster, and reservoir plug for reservoir.
Otherwise leaks can occur at the brake system.

 It is not possible to repair the master brake cylinder (3).
