	Remove and install

1	Release the parking brake
2	Relieve the pressure in the compressed air reservoir
3	Remove the plug (5) and loosen the relief nut until the position of parking brake mechanical release	Install: At the end of the installation, the relief nut will have to be tightened to its origin position.	AR42.10-B-0030C

4	Remove the articulation pin (3) and disconnect the forked rod from the brake lever	Install: Replace the articulation pin (3) and the counter pin. Lubricate the articulation pin (3).	*BR00.45-B-1002-06A
5	Remove the connections of the compressed air pipe (2) of the service brake and parking brake	With compressed air connection system “VOSS 232” (NG 8, 12) or “SCHÄFER SDF” (NG 6).	AR42.10-B-0900TC
6	Remove the self-locking nuts (4) and lift out the combined cylinder (1)	Install: Replace the self-locking nuts (4). Observe the original assembly position of the combined cylinder (1).

7	Install in reverse order
8	Check and, if necessary, adjust the drum brake clearance		AR42.10-B-0181G
