1 | Remove the retaining ring (27) and the discharge guide (26) from the lower body (24). | ||
2 | Remove (26) O-rings (19) and (21) from the discharge guide. | ||
3 | Remove the conical spring (16) and the valve (15). | ||
4 | Mark the upper (13) and lower (24) body positions. | ||
5 | Remove screws (25). | Assemble: Tighten screws with specified torque. | |
Fastening screw from lower body to upper body. | |||
6 | Remove the lower body (24) from upper body (13) and then remove the plunger (22) and O-rings (21) and (23) from the later. | ||
7 | Remove the O-ring (14), the retaining ring (20), the holder (17), the conical spring (16) and the valve (15) from the upper body (13) . | ||
8 | Remove O-rings (18) and (19) from the holder (17). | ||
9 | Remove the retaining ring (1), the boot (2), the boot holder (3) and the complete plunger (9) from the opposite side of the upper body (13). | ||
10 | Remove the plunger (9) the retaining ring (5), the rod (6), the spring seat (7), the rubber spring (8), both guide rings (4) and the O-ring (10). | ||
| Clean | ||
11 | Clean the components and check the parts for wear. | Use a suitable product to clean plastic and rubber components, otherwise they will be damaged. | |
The repair kit parts should be replaced at each disassembly. | |||
12 | Assemble in reverse order. | ||
| Test | ||
13 | Install the service brake valve onto the bench and perform the test. | Wabco Valves. |
