Detach underfloor paneling (1) in area of propeller shaft intermediate bearing (2).

Make color markings to indicate installation position of propeller shaft intermediate bearing (2) on vehicle floor (see broken lines).

Unscrew bolts (3) of propeller shaft intermediate bearing (2) and remove reinforcement brace (4).

 Secure propeller shaft center support bearing (2) against falling down.
Otherwise damage will occur.

Loosely position propeller shaft center support bearing (2) and reinforcement brace (4) using bolts (3).

 The bolts (3) should not be tightened until the propeller shaft is tightened at the flange of the power take-off and rear axle differential.
Otherwise vibrations may be caused in the drive train and the propeller shaft center support bearing (2) may get damaged.

Move propeller shaft center support bearing (2) to original installation position.

 To do this, align the previously made color coding with each other.

Tighten bolts (3).  

Fasten underfloor paneling (1).
