 	Remove/install
1	Secure vehicle to prevent it moving away.
2	Switch off ignition.
3	Lift and support vehicle at one side of rear axle.	Only in case of poor accessibility of threaded connections at rear axle flange connection (3), propeller shaft intermediate bearing flange connection (4), transmission flange connection (6).
		 Only raise until the wheel rotates freely.
4	Secure propeller shaft (1) using tensioning straps against falling down.

6	Detach propeller shaft (1) from propeller shaft intermediate bearing flange connection (4).	Only for vehicles with propeller shaft center support bearing (5) when only one individual propeller shaft (1) of the drive train is to be removed,installed, or when the propeller shaft center support bearing (5) is to be replaced.

8	Detach propeller shaft intermediate bearing (5) from holder.	Only on vehicles without code B3G (Permanent magnet retarder) and with propeller shaft intermediate bearing.
		 Screw/bolt, intermediate bearing to bracket	*BA41.40-N-1001-01D
9	Remove propeller shaft(1).	 Remove propeller shaft (1) downward using telescopic lifter and with a help of another person.
10	Install in the reverse order.
