Detach front half of propeller shaft (1) and rear half of propeller shaft (2) from slide joint connection

Pull seal bellows (4) off front half of propeller shaft (1)

Detach elastomer bearing (7b) together with grooved ball bearing (8) from rear half of propeller shaft (2)

Press grooved ball bearing (8) into elastomer bearing (7b)

Press elastomer bearing (7b) together with grooved ball bearing (8) onto joint fork of rear half of propeller shaft (2)

Check seal bellows (4) for damage and leakages

If damaged or leaking



Replace axle boots (4).

Fit seal bellows (4) onto front half of propeller shaft (1)

 Check for correct seating.

Press front and rear halves of propeller shaft (1, 2) together
