Measurement, absolute angle of front propeller shaft (2) |

086a | Measuring sensor |
086b | Measuring sensor connecting cable |
2 | Front propeller shaft |
P41.10-A011-11
1 | Clean contact surface for adapter for transmission (021) on front propeller shaft (2). |
2 | Position adapter for transmission (021) on front propeller shaft (2) (magnetic). |
3 | Align adapter for transmission (021) horizontally in transverse direction using spirit level (021a). |
4 | Place measuring sensor (086a) on support plate of adapter for transmission (021). |
For each measurement, the connecting cable (086b) must point in the direction of travel, otherwise the measurement will be incorrect. Ensure that the measuring sensor (086a) is seated correctly in the bores of the support plate, otherwise the measurement will be incorrect. If the measuring sensor (086a) is not positioned horizontally, a fault message appears. The measured angle cannot be read out or stored. |
5.1 | If the electronic inclinometer is used or if measurement is performed using the electronic propeller shaft inclinometer in inclination measuring mode, only the absolute angle will be measured. The articulation angle must be calculated using a data sheet. The measured value must not be stored. |
5.2 | If the electronic propeller shaft inclinometer with memory extension is used or the electronic inclination-propeller shaft inclinometer with memory extension is used in articulation angle measuring mode. |
A confirmation message appears briefly. Indication of measurement readiness for the next angle then appears. |
