Clean dirt as well as paint and sealant residue from contact surfaces  (4) on housing of rear axle differential  (3).


Remove any unevenness on surface of material using a suitable tool.

Position  sensor  (020a) on contact surfaces  (4) of housing of rear axle differential  (3).


For each measurement, the side of the sensor  (020a) at which the spiral cable  (020b) is connected must point in the direction of travel.
False measurements can occur otherwise.
