Clean measuring points on front transverse control arms (7) and on the rear axle


The measuring points must be clean and free of residue.
Otherwise, measurement errors may occur.

Attach measuring plate (2) to left transverse control arm (7)



 The measuring plate (2) is magnetic and is designed for the right and left side of the vehicle; it must be correctly positioned accordingly. Place the measuring plate (2) with the guide pins flush against the transverse control arm (7) and against the supporting joint (6) as shown.

The connecting cable for the measurement sensor (3) must face the vehicle center.
Otherwise measurement errors will occur.

 To do so, position the measurement sensor (4) on the measuring plate (2). Measure the vehicle level at measuring point 1 (left front) and store the measured values.

The measurement sensor connecting cable (3) must face forward. Place the measurement sensor (4) in the same position on the right and left side of vehicle.
Otherwise measurement errors will occur.

 As far as possible, place the measurement sensor (4) centrally on the rear axle in the direction of the wheel, as shown. Measure vehicle level at Measuring point 3 (left front) and measuring point 4 (right front) and store measured values.
