Replace pressure plate nut (2) and related bolt.


Only when, instead of the pressure plate nut (2), another nut is installed is or the pressure plate nut (2) and screw/bolt have not been replaced immediately beforehand. Do not yet tighten the pressure plate nut (2).

Loosen pressure plate nut (2).

Turn the eccentric disk (1) forwards or backwards until the specified angular alignment of the trailer axle is adjusted .


Align trailer axle to kingpin. Do not use a tape measure.

Tighten pressure plate nut (2) to specified tightening torque .


Before tightening the pressure plate nut (2) set the normal driving level.
This prevents damage to the bushings.


Counterhold bolt if necessary. The threaded connection should be checked annually with the specified test torque. On vehicles with arduous operating conditions the check should be carried out at correspondingly shorter time intervals.
