1 | Detach the appropriate wheel | ||
2 | Knock out wheel stud (4) by striking with hammer | ||
| Install | ||
3 | Clean contact surface of wheel stud (4) on wheel hub (3) | ||
4 | Insert new wheel stud (4) into hole of wheel hub (3) | Make sure that the truncation on the wheel stud (4) matches up with the shoulder on the wheel hub (3). A correction can be performed with a fork wrench (2). | |
5 | Install wheel stud (4) with corresponding wheel sleeve nut (1) into wheel hub (3) | The wheel stud (4) must not be struck with the hammer as this could lead to damage when the wheel is mounted. | |
Install wheel stud (4) with wheel sleeve nut (1) until the collar of the wheel stud (4) makes contact with the contact surface on the wheel hub (3). | |||
Use corresponding wheel sleeve nut (1): | |||
