C Clearance
1 Measure the clearance (C) between the arcs (1) of the elevation device and the tubular housing of the axle (2) of the drag axle.
The clearance (C) has to be the same size on both arcs (1). If the existing clearance (C) is not according to the prescribed value it has to be adjusted.
2 Adjust the nuts (3 and 4) according to the existing clearance (C), until the prescribed clearance is attained.
If the existing clearance (C) is too large, loosen the nuts (3) and tighten the nuts (4). If the existing clearance (C) is too small, carry out the reverse procedure.
3 Re-tighten the nuts (4) to the specified torque.
4 Measure the protrusion of the thread (A) in the arcs (1). If necessary, cut off the thread in excess.
The thread protrusion (A) cannot exceed 10 mm.
