1.1 Remove locking plate from slotted nut.
If the slotted nut is secured with a locking plate.
1.2 Heat up slotted nut to approx. 120 °C using a hot air gun
If the slotted nut is secured with thread locking compound.
2 Unscrew slotted nut.
3 Detach washer and joint flange from drive pinion gear.
