Detaching

1 Bend up lock tabs (arrows) and unscrew collared nut (1)

Do not move the vehicle on its wheels after the collar nuts (1) have been loosened. The wheel bearings can otherwise be damaged.

Attaching

2 Tighten collar nut (1) .

Always install a new collar nut (1). The collar nut (1) can otherwise not be secured correctly.

Lock

3 Press the collar (3) into the notches in the rear axle shaft (4) as shown.

No gap should remain between the notches and lock tabs.

4 Make a color marking in secured collar nut (1) and rear axle shaft (4).
