Removal and installation tool

Press out/press in radial shaft sealing ring on drive pinion

Remove radial shaft sealing ring using removal and installation tool from rear axle housing (1).


Do not damage sealing surfaces of mounting hole.
Otherwise leakage may occur.

Clean mounting hole.

Insert new radial shaft sealing ring into drift (02), set at right angle to mounting hole and drive in using drift (02) until flush fitted.


Use new radial shaft sealing ring.
Otherwise leakage may occur.


The installation depth is determined by the drift (02).
