Remove
1 Remove fastening bolts (1) from satellite case (3).
2 Separate satellite case halves (3).
3 Remove stop washers, planetary gears, gear shaft, and satellite gears.
4 Remove crown gear (2) from satellite case (3).
Tap with a brass hammer to separate satellite case (3) from crown gear (2).

Install
5 Through induction or with hot water, heat crown gear (2) to a temperature of approximately 120 °C.
6 Mount crown gear (2) on satellite case (3) immediately after heating the crown gear.
In case of difficulty in mounting crown gear (2) in satellite case (3), heat the crown gear again.
7 Install stop washers, planetary gears, gear shaft, and satellite gears in satellite case (3).
8 Position satellite case half (3) on the other half.
9 Install fastening bolts (1) in satellite case (3).
