1 Tighten inner slotted nut to specified tightening torque .
In order to achieve an even settling of the tapered roller bearings, the wheel hub must be cranked in both directions while tightening. To release the load on the tapered roller bearings also apply light hammer blows to the wheel hub with a plastic or rubber hammer.
2 Loosen the inner slotted nut by the specified rotation angle °.
Our experience shows that loosening the inner slotted nut by the specified rotation angle ° results in the required axial play of the wheel bearing.
