1 Release locking plate on outer grooved nut.
2 Unscrew outer grooved nut with pronged wrench.

3 Remove locking plate (5).
4 Correct the wheel bearing play.
The wheel bearing play can be changed by slackening or tightening the inner grooved nut (1).
- If the wheel bearing play is too small, the inner grooved nut (1) must be slackened slightly.
- If the wheel bearing play is too large, the inner grooved nut (1) must be tightened slightly.
With new tapered roller bearings, the lower setting value should be the aim.
5 Insert locking plate (5).
6 Tighten outer grooved nut with pronged wrench.
