Remove the oil deflector (1), by striking with a punch on the two orifices of the hub (4)

Remove the inner roller bearing (3) together with the seal ring (2)

 Puller

Remove the outside race of the inner bearing (3)

 Puller

Remove the outside race of the outer bearing (5)

 Puller

Check

6

Clean up and inspect the parts

In case of damages:



Replace the parts.

Check the wear on the friction surface of the bearing race

In case of damages, wear or furrows on frictions surface:



Replace the track ring.



Assemble

Assemble the outside race of the outer bearing (5)

 Drift

Assemble the inside race of the inner bearing (3)

 Lubricate with grease.

Grease, DB supply specification 6804 - Class 267.0

Install a new ring seal (2)

 Apply grease on the outer surface.

Assemble the oil baffle (1)

 Lubricate with grease.
