Replace thrust ring

Drill an Ø 8 mm bore (3) at the side of the seal pressure ring (2).

Split the seal pressure ring (2) by using a chisel.

 Be careful not to hit the axle surface (1).
The axle can be damaged (1).

Heat the new seal pressure ring (2) to approximately 80°C.

Install the seal pressure ring (2) on the axle (1).

 The seal pressure ring (2) must be perfectly in contact with the lathed face.

 The seal pressure ring (2) must be removed and replaced by a new one whenever its surface presents damages, wear or furrows.
