Pay attention to the different settings of the special tool components used in each operation described in the document.
Remove (smaller bushings) |
1 | Mark the position of the eye (arrows) of the bushing (9) in relation to the smaller bearing of the triangular bar (8). |
Make two markings forming a parallel alignment with the flat part of the eyes. |
B35.20-A000-01
2 | Position the smaller bearing of the triangular bar (8) over the tool holder (1). |
Position the smaller bearing of the triangular bar (8) on the bracket (1) with the multilaminate ring (10) facing upwards. |
3 | Position the pressure piece (2) over the rubber core of the bushing (9) and apply pressure to the pressure piece (2) with a hydraulic press. |
Apply pressure until the release of the multilaminate ring (10) is possible. |
4 | Remove the multilaminate ring (10) from the smaller bearing on the triangular bar (8). |
5 | Keep the hydraulic press on the pressure piece (2), and with a suitable screwdriver remove the multilaminate ring (10). |

6 | Remove the bushing (9) from the smaller bearing of the triangular bar (8). |
Using a rubber hammer, strike the bushing (9) on the side opposite to the multilaminate ring (10). |

Install (smaller bushings) |
7 | Install the new bushing (9) on the smaller bearing of the triangular bar (8). |
Pay attention to the alignment of the bushing eye (9) with the markings made on removal. |
8 | Position the smaller bearing of the triangular bar (8) over the tool holder (1). |
9 | Install the tapered guide (4), the new multilaminate ring (10) and the installation ring (3). |
10 | Install the pressure piece (2) over the installation ring (3). |
Installation: The assembled set of tools should be well aligned with the press actuator |
11 | Install the multilaminate ring (10) on the smaller bearing of the triangular bar (8), applying pressure to the pressure piece (2) with the hydraulic press. |
Apply sufficient pressure to the multilaminate ring (10) to enter the bearing cavity. |
There will be a noticeable sound when the multilaminate ring (10) fits into the cavity. |

Remove (larger bushing) |
12 | Mark the position of the eye (arrow) of the bushing (9) in relation to the bigger bearing of the triangular bar (12) |
Make two markings forming a parallel alignment with the flat part of the eyes. |

13 | Position the bigger bearing of the triangular bar (12) over the tool holder (1). |
With the multilaminate ring (11) facing upwards. |
14 | Position the thrust ring (7) and pressure piece (2) over the rubber core of the bushing. |
15 | Apply pressure to the pressure piece (2) with a hydraulic press. |
Apply pressure until the release of the multilaminate ring (11) is possible. |
16 | Keep the hydraulic press on the pressure piece (2), and with a suitable screwdriver remove the multilaminate ring (11). |
17 | Remove the bushing from the bigger bearing of the triangular bar (12). |
Using a rubber hammer, strike the bushing on the side opposite to the multilaminate ring (11). |
