1 | Warm up vent line (1) on the vent nozzle (2) and then remove line | If the vent nozzle (2) is broken, remove any residual material from the vent line (1) or cut off line just behind the residual material. | |
2 | Remove vent nozzle (2) from the rear axle using pliers | If the vent nozzle (2) is stuck or is broken, drill it out (angular drill with Please make sure to keep as much drill shavings out of axle housing as possible. Keep speed of drill slow. | |
3 | Remove drill shavings from axle housing | ||
| Install | ||
4 | Drive vent nozzle (2) into axle housing up to the stop | Use a 10mm socket and a short extension as as assembly aid. | |
5 | Blow out vent line (1) with compressed air | ||
6 | Warm up end of vent line (1) and slide onto vent nozzle (2) as far as possible | Check for tight fit. |
