Inspecting

1 Screw a M18 x 1.5 bolt (arrow) into the interaxle lock's hydraulic cylinder.

2 Use the bolt to tension the shift sleeve (1), continuing until the interaxle differential lock engages.

3 Use feeler gauge to measure the end float between the shift sleeve (1) and the reduction unit spur gear (2).

Adjusting

If the result is outside of specification, screw the adjustment bolt (3) in or out on the shift shaft (5) to readjust the end float. Proceed by first removing the interaxle differential lock hydraulic cylinder and releasing the 6-point nut (4).
