1 Pressurize differential lock with compressed air (approx. 6 bar) and engage.
2 Measure distance between tooth crest on dog clutch (30) and tooth root on shift collar (31).
3 Compare measured value and specified value.

4 If the specified value is not attained, adjust distance between tooth crest and tooth root by turning the threaded ring (1).
The differential lock must not be pressurized with compressed air while the adjustment is being made.
An adjustment of one tooth in the bore (arrow) corresponds to approx. 0.05 mm axial adjustment. After adjustment, a tooth space must be visible through the hole (arrow) in the axle housing.

5 Coat thread of lock screw (1) with sealing compound and fit screw.
The lock screw must engage in a tooth space.
6 Tighten lock screw (1).
