Remove

Lift vehicle with vehicle lift.

Mark installation position of shift cylinder (1) relative to axle tube.
If shift cylinder (1) is to be reused.

Remove union nut and disconnect electrical connector from shift cylinder (1).

Remove hydraulic line from switch cylinder (1) and seal openings using suitable stop plug.
Collect any escaping brake fluid using rags.

Unscrew screws of shift cylinder (1) on axle tube and remove shift cylinder (1).
Install

Install shift cylinder (1).
Replace seal.
Note the previously made marking when reusing the shift cylinder (1).

If the shift cylinder (1) was disassembled or parts of the differential lock were replaced,
adjust the shift cylinder (1).

Connect electrical connector to shift cylinder (1) and attach union nut.

Attach hydraulic line to shift cylinder (1).
