1	Remove front axle shaft	Left front axle shaft
		Model 169.0 /3, 245.02 except 169.090, 245.286	AR33.30-P-0620AK

		Right front axle shaft
		Model 169.0 /3, 245.2 except 169.090, 245.286	AR33.30-P-0620AL

2	Clamp front axle shaft into vise	 Use protective jaws.
3	Detach hose clamp (4, 5)
4	Cut open boot (3) and detach.
5	Detach constant velocity joint (6) from shaft (1) at inner spider (7) using suitable drift
6	Remove circlip (2).
7	Disassemble constant velocity joint (6), check for wear and assemble	 If damaged, replace the constant velocity joint (6).	AR33.30-P-0660-03AK
	Measure
8	Determine size of constant velocity joint (6) or boot (3)	With code (426) CVT automatic transmission	AR33.30-P-0695-01AK
		 Before ordering the repair kit, determine the size of the constant velocity joint (6) or boot (3) on the inside joint.
	Install
9	Install circlip (2).	 Install new retaining ring (2).
10	Push hose clamp (4) onto shaft (1)
11	Push boot (3) onto shaft (1)
12	Fill constant velocity joint (6) with grease up to top edge of inner spider (7)	 Use grease from the repair kit.
13	Push constant velocity joint (6) onto the shaft (1)	 Ensure that the outer constant velocity joint (6) is seated correctly.
14	Fill boot (3) and constant velocity joint (6) with remaining grease	 Use grease from the repair kit.
15	Push boot (3) onto constant velocity joint (6), align and fix with hose clamps (4, 5)	 When aligning the boot (3) pay attention to assembly dimension (b).	*BE33.30-P-1001-04A
		Ensure that the hose clamps (4, 5) are seated properly. Press together hose clamps (4, 5) to size (X) of 4 to 5 mm.
