Screw in screw of front axle shaft a several turns into the thread of the respective front axle shaft if necessary.

 The screw of the front axle shaft serves as a thrust piece of the  pull-off device (076).

 Attach pull-off device (076) with three wheel bolts (48a) at the wheel hub.

  Do not operate extractor tool (076) with the spindle.
Otherwise, damage to the spindle will occur.

Turn thrust piece (076a) and, using  pull-off device (076), push front axle shaft out of wheel hub.

Clean longitudinal splines (arrow) and contact surface (hatched) of the front axle shaft.

Spray contact surface (crosshatched) in three passes with Teflon spray.

 Allow to flash off between the stages.
