1 Wheel stop screw

1 | Position the vehicle with the front axle wheels to be checked in the center of the turntable | ||
2 | Set the scale of the turntable at 0° | ||
3 | Turn the steering wheel to the left until the stop and hold that position | ||
4 | Read the angle on the turntable scale on the left wheel (inside of the turn) | If there is deviation as to the nominal value, the wheel stop should be set to the left wheel. | |
5 | Turn the steering wheel to the right until the stop and hold that position | ||
6 | Read the angle on the turntable scale on the right wheel (inside of the turn) | If there is deviation as to the nominal value, the wheel stop should be set to the right wheel. | |
Adjust | |||
7 | Loosen the locknut (2) from the stop screw (1) on the wheel to be adjusted and regulate the distances | Tightening or loosening the wheel stop screw (1). | |
8 | Tighten the locknut (2) to wheel stop screw (1) |
