Pulling off front axle shaft flange
1 Push retaining plate (056) over the front axle shaft flange (5).
2 Push drift (73c) through the front axle shaft flange (5) from behind.
3 Fit mating piece (073a) so that all the retaining pins engage in the recesses in the
retaining plate (056).
4 Screw drift (073c) and spindle (073b) together.
5 Install hydraulic unit (012p) and pull off front axle shaft flange (5).
Since the stroke of the hydraulic unit (012p) is insufficient to pull off the front axle shaft flange (5) completely, the spindle (073b) will have to be readjusted several times.

Pulling in front axle shaft flange
6 Fit front axle shaft flange (5) on angular ball bearing.
7 Attach thrust piece (073e) and thrust piece (073g), push spindle (073d) through and fit nut (073f). Pull in front axle shaft flange (5) as far as the stop.
Use parts 01, 02, 07, 08.
Install the small thrust piece (073g) with the chamfer facing the nut (073f).
The front axle shaft flange (5) must not be tilted when being pulled in.
