Remove/install/secure collar nut on wheel hub

N33.20-0453-01

Removal

1 Release collar nut.

2 Secure front wheel hub with assembly iron to prevent it from also turning.

3 Unscrew collar nut.

Replace collar nut.

Remove/install/secure collar nut on wheel hub

Attaching

4 Secure front wheel hub with assembly iron to prevent it from also turning.

5 Fit and tighten new collar nut.

Observe tightening torque.

6 Secure collar nut.

Shear off the collar of the nut in the axial direction and bend as far as the base of the slot so that the locking tab touches the left wall of the locking slot.
