1 Remove cotter pin from castellated nut.
Add-on part: Replace cotter pin.
2 Slacken castellated nut and unscrew until it is flush with the end of the thread.
3 Attach puller and press supporting strut off bracket.
4 Detach puller and unscrew castellated nut .
5 Install in the reverse order.
