Hydraulic hose (complete)
The scope of the insertion and removal tool includes the separate parts for removal/installation of the bushings (8) with Ø 70 mm and Ø 80 mm.
For removal/installation of the bushings (8) with Ø 100 mm, the separate parts from the supplementary set must be used.
Special tools dependent on bushing Ø |
1 | Ram |
2 | Support |
3 | Thrust piece |
4 | Sleeve |
5 | Holder |
5.1 | Half shell (only for bushing Ø 70 mm) |

Remove |
1 | Insert corresponding mount (2) into insertion and removal tool (7). |
2 | Position insertion and removal tool (7) with mount (2) onto bushing (8) in stabilizer link (6). |
3 | Position corresponding upper die (1) onto opposite side of bushing (8). |
4 | Connect hydraulic hose to hand pump and connection (9) of insertion and removal tool (7). |
5 | Operate hand pump and remove bushing (8) from stabilizer link (6). |
6 | Remove upper die (1) and insertion and removal tool (7) with mount (2) from stabilizer link (6). |
W32.35-1070-05
Install |
7 | Insert new bushing (8) onto opposite side of cutout (10) in corresponding sleeve (4). |
W32.35-1073-11
8 | Insert corresponding thrust piece (3) through bushing (8) into sleeve (4). |
W32.35-1074-11
9 | Press bushing (8) far enough into sleeve (4) so that it protrudes slightly at the other end of the sleeve (4). |
The protrusion makes it easier to position the bushing (8) on the stabilizer link (6). |
W32.35-1075-05
10 | Mount corresponding bracket (5) onto insertion and removal tool (7). |
For bushing (8) with Ø 70 mm |
11 | Insert corresponding mount (2) into insertion and removal tool (7). |
12 | Position insertion and removal tool (7) with mount (2) onto stabilizer link (6). |
W32.35-1071-05
13 | Position sleeve (4) with bushing (8) on stabilizer link (6). |
14 | Insert gauge (11) into square of upper die (1). |
W32.35-1076-05
15 | Slide upper die (1) far enough into mount (2) so that it engages with the bushing (8) and the other end of the gauge (11) makes contact with the lower edge of the stabilizer link (6) (arrow). |
This serves to ensure that the bores of the bushing (8) are located horizontal to the longitudinal axis of the stabilizer link (6) and therefore the bushing (8) is installed in correct installation position. |
W32.35-1077-11
16 | Connect hydraulic hose to hand pump and connection (9) of insertion and removal tool (7). |
17 | Operate hand pump and install bushing (8) far enough until it is flush with the bearing in the stabilizer link (6). |
The cutout (10) in the sleeve (4) enables the insertion depth of the bushing (8) to be checked. |
18 | Completely remove insertion and removal tool (7). |
