Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Raise vehicle

Unscrew nut (1)

 Counterhold the threaded pin at the torsion bar linkage (3).

 Commercially available devices/tools
Open-end wrench bit

 Nut, link rod for stabilizer bar to stabilizer bar

 Torque wrench handle

Remove torsion bar linkage (3)

 To do so, unscrew nut (2). Counterhold the threaded pin at the torsion bar linkage (3).

 Commercially available devices/tools
Open-end wrench bit

 Nut, stabilizer bar link rod to suspension strut

 Torque wrench handle

Check

Check torsion bar linkage (3); inspect and, if necessary, replace

Install in the reverse order
